Your BATHROOM is due for an Energy Upgrade

Hello Beautiful!

I cannot tell you how many people I hear (some of these are eavesdropped conversations, but also, clients, friends, family) talking about clearing out, decluttering, minimizing, lightening up...maybe it’s happening in your world too? Or maybe it’s you!

It seems like there’s a collective PULL to MAKE SPACE--do you feel it?

I know that you have heard me talk about how clutter DRASTICALLY affects the energy of your space and how being BRAVE and letting go of those things that you do not LOVE or NEED will make a huge difference in your life…

So, today, I’m going to give you a place to focus, an opportunity to make a Huge Difference in the energy of your home…

Let’s turn our attention to the bathroom, the room that we use to clean ourselves up, clear ourselves out and pamper ourselves too!

It’s often neglected and last on the list for upgrades--so saaaaaaaad.

So, whether you’re preparing for a design upgrade or not, take a good look at your bathroom and let go of that which does not serve you--it is a relatively easy way to upgrade this space--PRONTO!

Let’s take a peek together, shall we? (It’s Ok, I’m right here!)

Set your self up for success by assembling a couple of bags/boxes for donation/recycling/trash.

Turn OFF your phone and dedicate some time...

Choose one Drawer/Cabinet and Start (and if there’s STUFF on the counter, it’s probably because there’s no room in the cabinets):

• Take everything out
  
• Make decisions about each item--keep, trash, donate
  
• Clean out the drawer or cupboard with an uplifting essential oil product, perhaps something citrus-y or Thieves Cleaner (if you’d like to order, contact Connie)
  
• Return items in an organized way, putting like with like and using containers (we LOVE these for so many reasons) to help organize
  
• IMMEDIATELY trash/recycle or donate the cast-offs, do not let them hang around dragging you down for one minute more!
  

Things to keep an eye out for:

1. Expired makeup
   
2. Expired Sunscreen
   
3. Stretched out hair-ties
   
4. Old toothbrushes
   
5. Ratty washcloths/towels
   
6. Too many towels (2-3 per person is enough)
   
7. Loofahs that have seen better days
   
8. Dried up nailpolish
   
9. Extra bath products
   
10. Extra cleaning supplies
    
11. Half empty cosmetic/perfume samples
    
12. Extra travel-sized toiletries
    
13. Potpourri that’s lost its scent
    
14. Fancy Soap you never use
    
15. Extra promotional makeup bags
    
16. Expired medicine​
    

Leave 10% SPACE in every drawer and shelf for maximum Chi Flow

When you do this (not IF, I know you, you go-getter) take a before and after pic and share with us, we would LOVE to celebrate with you!

And then once you’ve got the space cleared out, how about adding something beautiful to celebrate your success?

All 3 of these bathrooms were CLEARED OUT before the Feng Shui Design happened.
