There is an interesting truth about transforming your environment and transforming yourself: you can’t do one without the other happening--it’s Physics! “Energy cannot be created or destroyed but CAN BE converted to another form” (mini-physics 101). How about transforming some stagnant energy into creativity, joy, focus or connection? Wouldn’t you LOVE that?
I have seen clients transform, in both subtle and profound ways, from embracing this powerful principle. *What if your creative space became functional and enticing with a clear space to work? What if you actually were drawn to sit and create art every single day--because the chaos was handled, there was SPACE and materials were at hand? How would that change your life? Your joy? *Or, what if you exchanged dusty files, piles of paper, a cluttered desktop and CRAZY CHAOS in your office for powerful focus, clarity and inspiration? Would that translate to efficiency, quality clients, perhaps more free time for you? Sounds pretty good, huh? *How about the basement? Could you imagine trading in stuff strewn about, and cardboard boxes full of “who-knows-what” for feeling light on your feet and ready for anything? Then when that opportunity to move to California or the Tetons arises...you’re ready! Nearly Packed! It’s easy to say, “YES!” and GO! Any and all of these scenarios (and more) are TOTALLY POSSIBLE! You can be your own physicist :) and create the EXACT energy that could move your life forward in a quantum leap. Working with the energy in your own home can be a very powerful tool for transformation--your home is an extension of you, a living breathing journal of how things are going in your life. Maybe that realization, alone, will get you moving! We are in relationship to our homes and EVERYTHING in our homes. A recent study says that the average American owns 300,000 items! Yep, that’s a lot! Our possessions, no matter HOW they got into our lives, are now installed somewhere in our space, whether it’s in plain sight or hidden away. And whether our space feels stuck--or in flow--has everything to do with how our lives are going. Here’s the fun part... As we let go of old stagnant items and reduce the chaos in our space, it’s quite possible to notice a perceptible increase in our own personal energy--challenges suddenly feel more do-able, opportunities lineup, helpful people arrive with information for our future. Exciting isn’t it? Invest in yourself, work on your home in this powerful way and then have your home support you as you go for your dreams. About a year ago, a client of mine, Sandy, all of a sudden got inspired to take on her “extra” bedroom, which was more like disorganized storage--kind of a “catch-all” room. First we set the intention, talked through how things were going in her life, what she wanted to strengthen or create for herself. As we talked, she said several times, “I am fully trained to do Reiki--I have put that skill on the shelf since moving here and really want to revive it! I had a thriving practice in Philadelphia! Some of these boxes never got unpacked from that move--2 years ago.” Hmmm, Sandy, should we turn this space into a Reiki room????? About half of what was in the room was donation-worthy, lots of extra furniture, clothing, and old files left the premises. Mementos were packed up neatly into a couple of beautiful storage containers and her Reiki Treatment Room was born! We picked out a beautiful paint color, (Georgian Green--Benjamin Moore), added beautiful, neutral window coverings for privacy and light, hung art and mirrors to enhance the room, a small efficient desk was uncovered and placed by the window--with beautiful, soft lighting...Voila! She was IN BUSINESS! One year later, she is working at her former job only half time and is hoping in one more year to leave her job completely and work from her home office, doing what she loves and getting her gifts out to the world. An excellent example of transforming energy! Where in your life are you inspired to sing a new tune, turn over a new leaf, grow and stretch? How could transforming the current energy of your space create a shift for you? Please call me if I can support you as you step forward to claim a life you would love--it would be an honor to support you. XOXO Lots of Love, Jane

What happens when your cell phone breaks? Are you at the store in under an hour? At least by the end of the day? A broken cell phone rises to the top of the priority list very, very quickly! It’s damn near an EMERGENCY because your CONNECTION is gone!!!!
Do you have the same sense of urgency when it comes to musty boxes in your basement or your file cabinets jammed with unimportant papers? Probably not... Many, many, smart, with-it people are in this boat, too. They NEVER CONSIDER this connection: Clutter and stagnant energy have a direct impact on your HEALTH and WELL-BEING. It blocks the path to your truest, wisest self. Clutter and chaos in your home is an often unidentified cause for all kinds of ailments. It is a hidden (or not so hidden), sneaky, pull on your energy--affecting you more than you realize. Got emotions running the show? Every. Single. One. Of my clients reports this at some point in our initial conversation: “...I’m SO ashamed...really embarrassed that it got this way in the first place. Now, I’m just so stuck, and the anxiety I feel about my __________(fill in the blank with your current stuck spot) is PARALYZING me!” The EGO feeds on this--making it larger than life, very often keeping us in this perplexing and frustrating situation. Remember, it’s just your emotions, thank them for reminding you that actions needs to be taken. Then, take a deep breath, get yourself in gear, and begin! Somewhere! How about Aches and Pains, OR, Strrrrrrrrrreeeeeesssssssss? The correlation between stress (and the physical ailments it produces) and clutter has been documented by the Princeton Review. If you’re interested in reading the article, message me, I’ll dig it up for you :) Here are JUST A FEW of the physical manifestations that I have seen from living in a space filled with clutter and chaos: headaches, backaches, neck aches, stomach aches, extra weight, low energy, insomnia and STRESS--which is responsible for MORE than 80% of ALL diseases. WOW! It blows me away that handling the stale energy in your living space can “cure” what ails you. But, I have seen this with my own eyes, over and over again. When you think about it, our homes are an extension of our lives; we are the glorious creatures who purchased and put (or forgot about) all of the STUFF! And, now we’re lifting the curtain to see the “fix” for what’s keeping us playing small and from living the life we TRULY desire! Time for Transformation The good news is if you make this connection between the sluggish energy in your space and how you feel--emotionally and physically--clearing your clutter will rise closer to the top of your priority list. BECAUSE, WHO DOESN’T WANT TO FEEL BETTER? One powerful way to get started
