I hope you’re having a wonderful week... We spent Sunday with granddaughter Harper and family. She nailed the selfie—it’s hysterical to see how “screened in” the grandbabies are, just part of everyday life! I will keep this short, I know you have a mile-long list and Things To Do! As we say goodbye to the darkness and the ever-increasing light begins (Dec. 21!)…take a quiet moment to tune-in and ask yourself this one question: “What do I really want?” (I know this can open a whole can of worms, maybe even 12 cans of worms!) Because, as you probably already guessed, I’m not asking, “Do you want socks or slippers for Christmas?” I’m asking a much bigger question-- For your life, what do you want? Is it time for a bigger career? A sweeter relationship? More travel? More joy? Better health? More cozy moments? How do you want to feel? What area of your life could use a boost? Dream into it for a few minutes and see what comes to you… It’s very possible that (this thing you want) is closer than you realize and it’s also possible that either by clearing clutter and/or using Feng Shui design that (this thing you want) could materialize in the coming year. Wouldn’t you love that? Have a Merry, Happy, Gorgeous Holiday, Lots of Love, XO This Week...I saw Matt at the coffee shop! Kirstin got the job! Katy’s wallpaper is up and DAMN(!) it’s cool! M bought the Akiyama (WOW!). KK cleared out the closet under the steps, Emma got after the attic, and fa la la la--things HAPPENED, all in one week!

Tis the season!!!! And, if all of the marketers on the planet are doing their jobs, you are out SHOPPING! With shopping comes giving and with giving sometimes comes… “ARGHHHHHH! What do I do with the gift I really don’t want to keep?” We hear this question from just about every client we work with! Even though a well-intentioned gift does NOT meet the criteria for the “KEEP” pile, the narrative goes something like this… “It was a gift from Great Aunt Betsy!” “I can’t get rid of it, even though I hate it, my mom gave it to me!” (You get the idea…) Often, clients have A LOT of guilt about letting go of items that once were gifts. And it’s not just at the holidays! It’s a whole category of “stuff” that stays in your space for the wrong reasons! I am ALL for keeping gifts that make you exquisitely happy, and cause joy to flow from your pores. But any other gift? If you’re keeping it because of guilt? It’s got to go! Really!!! Let’s break it down...
It is completely up to you to decide what to do with it. IF (and only if) you SPARKLE when you hold whatever has been given to you...then it’s a keeper. IF it falls into the other category, filled with reasons, rationalizations, and guilt, then you must send it out into the world WITH LOTS OF LOVE for someone else to adore. Remember! The three gifts (choosing, giving and receiving) have already transpired!!!!! And I know this is not easy--we’ve been programmed to be “nice” and “smile” and stuff it in the closet. But then the closet gets full and starts trailing out into our living areas, or down the stairs and into the garage...then it’s time to take steps to claim your home as your very own space to rejuvenate, rest and nourish yourself. You are not a gift warehouse; you do not have to save every gift that has been bestowed upon you! And, I know, it’s not always easy--breathe, choose gifts to give with a big dose of love and intention, give freely with no strings attached and feel easier about letting go of things that don’t delight you while keeping your own personal energy intact. Send a message if we can help support you to enjoy more space, more energy, or more beauty this holiday season! Lots of Love and Happy Full Moon! XOXO SUCCESS STORY:
This organizing session was just what I needed to lift the burdens of past. I feel like I got a part of my life back and accomplished something huge for myself today! I see clearer and feel empowered over my life again. Thank you Jane and Kelly! I LOVED the pink sparkly tree with lights already attached and Snoopy on top!!!! I hope it found a good home. New tree on the way... Annnnnd, here comes the Holiday Season... Can you feel it? Parties, Shopping, Meals, Guests? Do you feel like you’re zooming around in overdrive...slightly frantic? Pleeeeeeease take time to breathe and sink into what’s truly important. And, if guests are part of the picture for you this month, I’ve got you covered. Let’s create an inviting space for the people you love… 6 Steps to Spruce Up Your Guest Room:
If you are the air mattress-in-the-office-type of host, you can STILL use the ideas above to make a cozy, comfortable space for your guests. Yes, you can. Caution: If the Feng Shui in your home (and the guest room in particular) is TOO GOOD, your guests will not want to leave. Depending on how you feel about your guests...well, you get the picture!!!! Enjoy the holidays with your loved ones and consider your lovely guest room as a beautiful gift to your holiday guests. Lots of Love, XO PHOTO CREDIT: Janice Laufenberg
Bob (lovely husband) and I totally felt the blessings of abundance last week with family visiting us from all over the country--and my arms full of these two gifts--grandbabies: Jude and Harper! They’re lucky they still have those toes, fingers and cheeks--so tempting to just eat them up! Last week there was definitely riches in family, food and fun departments. And now they’re gone and tucked back into their lives but the glow remains--I miss them SO MUCH when they leave! And sometimes there’s a point where abundance tips… It’s where A BEAUTIFUL OPPORTUNITY lies...where too much (fill in the blank) in your home (or life) suddenly shifts from feeling really amazing and joyful to energy draining, soul sucking, and just plain TOO MUCH! It’s the place where we tend to cover our eyes and ears and sing, “La, la, la” to avoid noticing. Many of us use avoidance techniques to keep from addressing the places in our homes (and our lives) that feel burdensome. Avoidance keeps us from ever having to really see what’s going on. It keeps us from facing the places that feel stuck and the blocks that led to the stuckness in the first place. One client of mine PAID her husband to do the laundry so she would never have to go down the basement! Creative avoidance, don’t you think? What if you took just a little peek at what you’ve been avoiding? What if you only spent a few minutes this week saying “hello” to it? Could things start to shift for you? We do EVERYTHING because we think it’s going to make us feel better--what we choose to eat, drink, who we spend time with--and whether it’s hanging on, or accumulating, or shopping (A-hem, Black Friday, anyone?) it’s always done in an attempt to feel better. Can you relate? If you’ve been following me for awhile, you may be feeling a little nudge toward this big idea that you could feel better by letting go. Does your stuff affect your health? Your relationships or your wealth? Are you able to get your passions out into the world? And be the glowing, shining, diamond essence version of yourself? Keep only the things you really, really love. Or, the things you need. And let go of the things that drag you down and keep you feeling sick and stuck. Check in with your own personal energy--ONLY KEEP that which lifts you up and fills you with joy. If you want support, hit reply, we’re here for you! Lots of love, XO SUCCESS STORY:
“I’m in the final round for the new job, they’re down to the last 5 candidates...the craziest part is that things are going so much better in my current role, if I don’t get the new job, it won’t be the end of the world!” ~K.
