Hello Everybody! We had A BLAST at the DreamBank last week--welcome to our e-community, we are so happy you’ve joined us! So many of you showed up on your lunch hour (WOW!) to discover how clutter is actually creating blocks in your life... It’s not just clutter--the chaotic, stagnant, stuck energy is KEEPING YOU playing small, from getting your precious gifts out into the world, and BLOCKING YOU from blossoming into who you were always meant to be in the world, so CONGRATULATIONS on opening that door and taking a little peek inside---remember your DREAMS are waiting for you on the other side! The Feng Shui of clutter is POWERFUL and most closely aligns with HEALTH--so really pay attention to what you’re keeping and why! Some of you know that Bob and I were on vacation for the last two weeks--hiking, camping and tromping around the canyons of Utah--I’m not really a desert person (VERY hot) BUT the beauty, variety and expansiveness of that part of the country was truly amazing. We went to 6 National Parks (Including scooting over to Arizona to the north rim of the Grand Canyon--which was iNCREDIBLE, BTW!) and are now on a quest to go to all of the National Parks--even got a sticker book to mark our progress--looooooove me some stickers! We camped several of the nights on this trip and I just have to share...we are NEVER HAPPIER than when we are in the tiniest tent on the planet, able to reach all 4 corners of our “home” from our sleeping bags! Ever have that experience yourself? A hotel room, tent, or cabin on vacation? Small, compact, with everything you need and enough comfort to keep you feeling gooooooood? (I realize camping’s not for everyone :) While on this trip, though, I didn’t once wonder how my 3rd grade Girl Scout Sash was doing in my memento box back home...I didn’t once think about my HIgh School Yearbook or photo albums of other wonderful trips--not ONCE! We were out LIVING IT, soaking up all the goodness of this trip, talking about our next trip, enjoying each other... I’m not saying that mementos aren’t meaningful, but how important are they, really? If they AT ALL feel like a drag, like TOO MUCH, or an anchor in some other way...consider saying “Hello” to the idea that there could be less and play with the idea that an amazing amount of fresh energy could be released by letting more go. After all, they are just things: paper, metal, fabric, sometimes with words, pictures or symbols that we believe are meaningful--but if they’re gone...is the memory gone? Is the LOVE gone? Is the fun or achievement gone? If the people are gone, would they want us to hold onto THINGS to honor their memory OR could keeping their love in our hearts be enough? Take a few moments this week and drop into a quiet place to consider WHY you’re keeping some of what you have--how would it impact your life if it were suddenly gone? There’s no right answer here, but you might surprise yourself with what you discover by taking a few moments to sit with this. Please let me know how it goes for you--mementos hold so much emotion--so breathe and ask: “What lights me up?” “What still brings me joy?” “What makes my spirit happy?” Those are the things to consider keeping!!!!! The “have-tos”, “shoulds” and guilty feelings will only keep you from claiming your gorgeous, glittering life! Let’s make SPACE and then keep an eye out for what comes your way--and as I said, PLEASE keep us posted, we would love to hear how it goes for you! Lots of Love, XOXO Do you have a friend who would love to read this today? Click HERE to forward this email to a friend!
