Majestic Martha (It Could Be You!)

Martha was suddenly “ready” for a BIG transformation. She had visited a gorgeously Feng Shuied healing space (my mentor’s work) and felt how the power of that space had been harnessed for healing--she wanted MORE of that; she wanted to be immersed in it--in her own condo, 24/7! Her request for assistance was loud and clear--She was Brave. She was Bold. She trusted the process, and an amazing transformation took place.

Our first meeting--

Martha’s condo felt small and dark, all of the lamps were leaning and/or broken, there was chaotic and stagnant energy in her space, most of it trapped in excess “stuff” and in the old indoor/outdoor carpeting. There was very little place to relax, a hospital bed in the living room, and her table was a makeshift piece of plywood nailed to the windowsill.

At this first meeting, Martha reported that her health had not been great but she was recovering, taking good care with nutrition and exercise, and she was feeling almost ready to start working again--AND...she really wanted to squeeze all the vitality she could from her living space. As it was, it was doing her no favors, keeping her playing small and closed off from living the unstoppable life she really wanted.

What we did-

We Took EVERYTHING OUT {of the whole condo}!!!! Painted the walls and ceiling glowing, life-giving colors, and changed the flooring to a beautiful, gleaming maple. We swapped all the lamps and lighting, tripling the brilliance, and added as many reflective surfaces and MIRRORS as possible. We eliminated the old sofa and bed, bought a modern, NEW, BRIGHT RED sofa/futon, blue regal-looking chair with big ottoman, and olive green velvet chairs for dining that can also be used as living room chairs. We added a beautiful, black round  pedestal table with chandelier above for working and eating. The “new” place sparkles!!!!! Everywhere you look there is light, opulence, and shimmer.

Martha bravely LET GO of everything that did not fit into the new place--old furniture, papers, linens, clothing, anything that didn’t feel like a match to her new energy. We hung up a beautiful old tapestry of hers behind the couch--her “magic carpet” :) And even though there were a few bumps along the way, a ‘handyman” who had a hard time focusing and couldn’t seem to get the job done, a few paint and flooring mistakes, the results are AMAZING!

Martha’s place radiates! she has a spring in her step, is happy to have her friends and family over, and already has big ideas for her future--a house on the lake with a balcony!!!!! The energy and vibration in her space is so high--she is already feeling increased strength and expansiveness. Her daughter is more likely to hang out with her in the living room and her sons are also impressed with her metamorphosis. Most importantly, though, Martha has bushels of energy to focus on health, creating some fun in her life, and making plans to begin her business again.


Martha’s words--

“Before I called this place ‘The Hole’ But, OMG, Jane! You are a super power. You are a spark of fabulous intentions. A strong warrior using the power of space! I am soooooooo honored having you uphold the VISION for me and my home! Now, I feel so much better, so PROUD of my home! It’s like a castle! The blue, velvety queen chair is perfect, elegant and fits Merlin (little pup), too! Everyone loves it; and I love it most of all! Hooray! I now wonder what possibilities exist next for me? I will have to generate an income and set a goal. But I feel that ALL is possible! I totally enjoy the space and Laura (daughter) is lounging on her bed and on the new cherry red couch. Love your support, vision. You are a giant holder of heart space! I noticed I have more strength on my bike. I have more energy pedaling up the hills. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

How this works--

Martha’s project is an excellent example of the power of Feng Shui. Harnessing the energy of a space to support enhanced health, abundance and connection is an amazing way to create opportunities for personal growth and advancement. My Mentor often describes this work as “surgery” as we extract the stagnant chi from a home and then, by attention to a person’s energy, Feng Shui principles and beautiful design, augment the space for maximum magnificence! What an amazing process.

I’m POSITIVE that there is more goodness coming Martha’s way and will look forward to hearing about how her life unfolds. I’ll keep you posted!
