Bob (lovely husband) and I had a fantastic weekend camping at Pikes Peak State Park in Iowa--a gorgeous park on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi--  We hiked, poked around the little town of McGregor (lots of history there…) watched barges go through the locks (‘cuz we had an hour + with nothing to do…) cooked eggs over the campfire and tested out our new backpacker camp chairs BECAUSE...we’re going backpacking, hiking, camping and adventuring in UTAH starting this weekend!!!! Our Green Lake weekend was EVERYTHING--family, friends, baby sprinkle for the one on the way, good food, the COUNTY FAIR, the beach, tears, laughter, baby snuggles, birthday parties and secret good news :)  My niece, Mason, was also with us last week. She’s a recent college grad and wanted to spend a week soaking up some Feng Shui Fun! She shadowed Kelly and I all week--observing, assisting, photographing, editing (stuff and photos), learning AND sanding/applying a mural wall for a client-- (happy client, Dezirae)    Mason Dezirae We were incredibly happy to have her with us--what an fantastic week! One of our projects was photographing Sheri Maass’s Office--Sheri called me last fall for an upgrade to her LOVE COACH office (and, if you need support in the relationship department, whether you’re single or not, consider checking out her fabulous services, as well!). Join us for this Fun, Free Event:  We’re having a mini-family reunion this weekend (Well, starting TODAY!)--the girls, most of the husbands (wish Craig could come…) and the babyzzzzzz!!!! We’ll be in Green Lake, hanging out and enjoying some R&R together :) So, I’ll keep this short--lots to do! My client, Katie, emailed last week with an update on her Wisconsin Northwoods cottage-- Our last in-person meeting was Sept, 2017, to choose some fantastic Feng Shui colors for her new (to her) cottage… (And, I’ve heard from MANY of you that you’re eager for the before and after shots--Hi, Rita!--so, here you go...) BEFORE:  SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Can you feel it? This little place is begging for a makeover and some fresh energy! And Katie is looking for a retreat (this isn’t her permanent residence...yet) a place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the fresh air of Lake Superior. AFTER:  The Main Color (Newport Green--Ben Moore): A color to blend with the trees--borrowing their grandeur and giving the cottage some presence. The Trim (Dark Salmon--Ben Moore): This bright and fire-y pinkish-orange defines the lines of the house, the roof, windows and doors are clear and calls you to come visit! (Well, only if Katie invites you :) The Deck (Salamander--Ben Moore): The dark green creates a solid, steady foundation for the home and also expands the green of both the main color and nature, giving this little cottage the steadiness and spirit it needed. So, a few dozen gallons of paint later--a total transformation and a cottage to dream about! Can’t wait to hear how Katie settles in and what arrives on her doorstep next... What are you going to paint? What color? Lots of Love, XOXO  We had granddaughter Harper with us a couple of weeks ago while her mom and dad took a “babymoon”--yep, grandbaby #4 is due in October! We are So Blessed! She’s a delight(!) and good reminder to me to play A LOT and enjoy the little things…  (Like being silly in the backseat :) And, in Feng Shui business recently... I have thoroughly enjoyed my recent meetings with potential design clients--SO MUCH FUN! These folks are HUNGRY for MORE in their lives and have “tried everything” or “sort-of-tried” or “thought about trying” to improve their living space in hopes that their homes would look and feel better and their lives would go more smoothly, too... Because, even though I suppose it’s possible to give DIY Feng Shui Design a try, my guess is you won’t get very far...there’s WAY MORE to the work that a Feng Shui Designer does than printing out the bagua from the internet, painting your relationship corner pink or hanging a crystal in the wealth corner of your home! What you receive in working with a well trained Feng Shui Designer (and there are only a handful of us trained by our genius mentor) is a beautiful, balanced space that supports your gorgeous life to fully unfold, an opportunity to expand and grow in ways you probably can’t even imagine right now--and that’s just the tip of the iceberg... Because, what you may not be aware of are... 17 (OTHER) Ways that a Feng Shui Designer Can Support You: 
We need each other! I have support from many wonderful people in my life (coach, biz associate, accountant and on and on)--and I am betting that you probably do too!
