Before and After--Cottage Magic!

We’re having a mini-family reunion this weekend (Well, starting TODAY!)--the girls, most of the husbands (wish Craig could come…) and the babyzzzzzz!!!! We’ll be in Green Lake, hanging out and enjoying some R&R together :) So, I’ll keep this short--lots to do!

My client, Katie, emailed last week with an update on her Wisconsin Northwoods cottage--

Our last in-person meeting was Sept, 2017, to choose some fantastic Feng Shui colors for her new (to her) cottage…

(And, I’ve heard from MANY of you that you’re eager for the before and after shots--Hi, Rita!--so, here you go...)

BEFORE:

​SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Can you feel it? This little place is begging for a makeover and some fresh energy!

And Katie is looking for a retreat (this isn’t her permanent residence...yet) a place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the fresh air of Lake Superior.

AFTER:

The Main Color (Newport Green--Ben Moore): A color to blend with the trees--borrowing their grandeur and giving the cottage some presence.

The Trim (Dark Salmon--Ben Moore): This bright and fire-y pinkish-orange defines the lines of the house, the roof, windows and doors are clear and calls you to come visit! (Well, only if Katie invites you :)

The Deck (Salamander--Ben Moore): The dark green creates a solid, steady foundation for the home and also expands the green of both the main color and nature, giving this little cottage the steadiness and spirit it needed.

So, a few dozen gallons of paint later--a total transformation and a cottage to dream about!

Can’t wait to hear how Katie settles in and what arrives on her doorstep next...
