✨ An extensive art collection has its moment ✨

The deep color on the walls of this space and the low-slung, GORGEOUS orange sofa provided an amazing opportunity to use ALL THE ART these clients owned and “wallpaper” the walls with their amazing pieces.

Their collection includes whimsical pieces, “serious” pieces, large and small pieces, textiles, mirrors and 3-D pieces--and this arrangement creates a STUNNING effect! 

(The room is designated as a TV room, however, even if you wandered in to watch TV, you would definitely stay for the art ❣️)

Gallery Wall Art Tips:

• Choose a wall that can support your collection
• Measure the wall space to be used for hanging your art collection and re-create that same “space” on the floor with two tape measures
• Lay your pieces out on the floor (this makes it WAY easier to move things around and play with arrangement)
• Balance color, “weight” (light/dark), size, directionality and composition in your arrangement
• Take a picture for reference before you start picking things up to hang
• Start to hang things from the top--I usually start in the center and work my way out
• Level the pieces (SO important in collections) and then use pins or putty to keep them level
• Sit back and enjoy!
