Hello Beautiful! We are almost finished working on this TREASURE of an office for our client, an Esthetician, who moved her practice to Sun Prairie, WI. I couldn’t resist, though, sharing how amazing the space feels just by highlighting the exquisite mural in her lobby area! The mural is positioned so that it can be seen by passers-by and the energy and colors were chosen specifically to pull potential clients right into the space to enquire… And I’m 100% sure that this move and the Feng Shui enhancements we’ve made to her space will transform her and her business in ways she probably can’t even imagine right now… #################### HERE ARE SOME OFFICE TIPS FOR YOUR WORK SPACE:
THIS WEEK’S FENG SHUI HOMEWORK: Take a look at where you do most of your work – whether it’s at your job, home office, or even the space where you handle your home organization, paperwork and bills. From what we’ve explored today – or from your own innovation, intuition and creativity – what’s ONE change can you make this week that will uplift your work environment for the better? Please reply to this email to let me know what you’ve decided to do – and always feel free to share photos and stories from your results! There’s so much more to share, but I hope this was a fun tidbit for your day . . . I can’t wait to show you the progress as we finish up this office project soon! Till next time – Happy Feng Shui’ing! Lots of Love, XOXO

Hello Beautiful! I hope you’re enjoying your summer! I’ve been BUSY with the most amazing projects! I thought you might like to have a peek at one of our recently completed bathrooms – the cutest little powder room on the planet! This little space ALREADY HAD the most gorgeous vintage floor tile and baseboard. And we were able to preserve it, connecting it to the history of the house – built almost 100 years ago!
Everything else is brand new, and chosen specifically to raise the vibration of this home and its owners! The wallpaper, of course, is the star of the show – but the crystal chandelier, custom cabinetry, punchy modern art and all the little details give this tiny space a HUGE chi “hit”! Water consumption has already increased in this home, because who WOULDN’T want to be spending more time here? So here’s a starter checklist for YOUR bathroom oasis: BATHROOM CHI UPPERS:
HOMEWORK FOR THIS WEEK: Now it’s your turn! What’s one simple, easy, little change - that can really make you feel emotionally uplifted in your bathroom this week? Maybe it’s an idea from this week’s feng shui project. Or maybe it’s from the list above--maybe you’ll look at your bathroom from a new, Feng Shui vantage point – and discover a fresh insight all your own! Whatever it is, promise yourself you’ll take 5 minutes to give yourself a beautiful, invigorating, healing new bathroom space - because you deserve it! But most of all, please reply to this email to let me know what your bathroom goal is for the coming week! I’d love to hear all about it - and feel free to send photos, too! (And of course, if you need some support redesigning YOUR bathroom, just reach out and we can set up a time to chat about supporting you with your feng shui project.) I can’t wait to see what you come up with… Till my next love note . . . Lots of Love, XOXO Hello Beautiful! First things first… a cute baby update-- Lander, grandbaby #7, is 2 months old and really showing his personality! Today I want to share my thoughts on ART and specifically the art you choose and hang in your space… Everyone has some sort of art pieces hanging in their space--that’s a given. Either you choose them specifically for the room or hang up art that you already have to “fill up the walls” and MOST TIMES you don’t give it much thought--right? Art, however, is powerful!!!! And the messages it conveys are also powerful. These pieces hanging in your space are chit, chit, chatting away to you 24/7 and informing your energy even though you may not be aware of it. Here’s an example--At one initial design consultation, this piece of art was hanging directly across from the front door so it was visible each and every time our clients walked into their home: They had opinions and beliefs about how famous this image is, (It was a print--but this particular piece is impressionist Paul Ranson’s work) how expensive it was, the circumstances of when they bought it, and how beautiful they perceived it to be, but FOR THESE CLIENTS and IN THIS SPACE, it was not lifting the energy of their home or their personal energy. Can you feel it, too? And, as they were faced with this fiery, hot and unhappy image Every Single Time they opened their door to come home it was beaming these feelings to them and causing a perceptible funk in their lives. In fact, they BOTH said that they often felt a little low and tended to quibble with each other (too much fire in the picture). There were definitely other factors contributing, but this piece of art affected them and their relationship directly. This is the piece we used as a replacement-- A softer piece, by Matt Bialer, welcoming you home giving you an easier, more gentle entry into your home and life. ######################## The message to YOU is--take a fresh look at what is on the walls in your space, does it speak to your future, is it inspiring, beautiful, does it take your breath away and cause you to feel love, joy or abundance? OR, does it drag you down, keep you playing small--feeling indifferent or sad? NEWSFLASH: The artist’s hard-drive is IN the pieces they create!!! That is, the vibration and frequency of the artist, what they believe about themselves and LIFE is poured directly into their art as they create. It is a direct reflection of their own personal operating system. And then, you take it home with you then it feeds YOUR vibration and frequency. Here is an example: Before: Notice the three pictures at the back of the living room. They are small, irregularly shaped images and had been there for a very long time. They were no longer interesting or inspiring to our clients. After: The transformation of this space is incredible(!) and the art plays a VERY important part in the upgraded energy. It’s large enough to pull you into the room and beautiful enough to keep you there! This artist paints with a great deal of joy, beauty and connection. Here’s another example: Before: This is a commercial office that really needed some love and attention-- After: This client worked very, very hard to clear the clutter, the furniture was upgraded, the walls were painted but notice how the art grabs your attention and pulls you into the space--what an enhancement for this client and everyone she comes in contact with!
Art is one of the most dynamic elements in any space--it’s worth spending some time considering yours! Annnnnnd, sometimes it’s very hard to see for yourself what might need to change or shift in your space…if you would like some support with rearranging or upgrading your art, please reach out, I would LOVE to work with you! Lots of Love, XOXO Hello Beautiful! In case you’re itching to get some fresh chi into your space, here are THREE of my favorite checklists for your space: How to take care of your space

Enjoy freshening up the chi in your home or office--and if you want support--please send us an email, we would be more than happy to talk with you about your project! Lots of Love, XOXO Hello Beautiful! Smells like Spring 🤩--and these darlings are showing their faces whether the snow’s gone or not! I hope you’re feeling Spring Vibes, too--our brains naturally produce more dopamine at this time of year (the hormone triggered by new experiences)! ~~~Contact me - I would LOVE to know what feels fresh and fun for you this season~~~ (Plus, I miss you!!!! Just write to say hi, if you feel inspired.) ****************** Today, I would love to share a family room transformation with you--talk about a shot of freshness! Living Rooms tend to feel a little more formal and Family Rooms are spaces designed to feel more casual--they're family-friendly, accessible, and comfortable. But that doesn’t mean they have to feel dreary!!!! BEFORE: Challenges:
AFTER: UPGRADES:
This family is OVER the moon excited (!!!) about their transformation and this room gets used every single day: “Our family room is where we gather for fun and connection - dance parties, gymnastics/ninja sessions, reading, movies and more. We love how the furnishings, wall colors and art make this room feel--fun, cozy AND alive--we love it!” Is there a space in your home that feels stagnant or tiresome? IF you have a project in mind and would like to contact me for a complimentary 20 minute phone call, just reply here and we can set up a time to chat! Lots of Love, XOXO Hello BEAUTIFUL! We have a fresh new grand baby in the family 😍😍😍😍😍❗❗ Lander 💖was born at the end of February--what a cute little porkchop--we are all in LOOOOOVE! Of course, a new baby is an EXTREMELY beautiful example of the joy, sweetness and love that life has to give!!!! Even if you’re NOT having babies--you can still enhance the energy of your space by using Feng Shui to bring beauty and high frequency to your life. Your space can FEEL that something VERY special is happening in your life, too. **************** Just last month I had a client look at me quizzically and ask, “Is wallpaper still ‘a thing’ ”? My top responses are below--SOMETIMES I recommend wallpaper and wallpaper murals to clients for these specific reasons--maybe some of these will apply to you, too :) 1. As a correction for weird angles and dormer ceilings~ The wallpaper softens and “corrects” for the challenges that low ceilings, dormers and angles in this type of space present… 2. Bring ZING to a forgotten space~ Wallpapering a closet, a laundry room, or basement/attic space gives an instant AHHHHHHH! (or squeeeeeal of delight) every time you walk in -- or even *think* of this space. (applying a wall covering could be used as your incentive/celebration AFTER editing the space.) 3. Bathrooms can be Boring~ It’s FUN to put up wallpaper in small rooms, like a powder room that typically feel utilitarian or just functional. The small space lends itself to whimsy, or a bit of extravagance--giving you a big 💥💥💥WOW 💥💥💥every single time you walk in… 4. Correct for a Missing Feng Shui Element~ Sometimes we need help enhancing or balancing the five Feng Shui elements. An example: The Feng Shui of ANY entryway corresponds to CAREER and WATER is its corresponding element. Imagine a very small entryway with room for only one wall mirror--a tight squeeze, at best! To enhance this entry, we’ve added this gorgeous cobalt blue wallpaper as a WATER enhancement. Fresh! Beautiful! Full of joy and adventure! 5. Weak or Missing Art~ Add a wallpaper MURAL or one wall of wallpaper as a replacement for art. This gives you the abundant feeling of art in a BIG way for a fraction of the cost. 6. Behind the bed to increase headboard energy~ In Feng Shui, your headboard represents you being supported--thousands of years ago, people put the back of their homes up against a MOUNTAIN--so a solid, substantial headboard is a MUST! A wallpaper mural can EXTEND that energy and give you even more “backing” in your life. 7. Commercial Spaces--to pull you IN~ In commercial spaces, we use wallpaper or murals to “pull” energy (clients) into the space and all the way to the back of the space, so that they get the full experience…and so that the business can serve as many people as possible. (The GREEN space above is a brewery in progress--stay tuned for the finished space!) **************** These are only some of the reasons I use wallpaper with my Feng Shui clients--every space and every PERSON is different--your Feng Shui design will be completely tuned to your needs and specific requests.
Let me know if you are interested in your own energy upgrade--you never know, it may involve wallpaper! PS: (Attn: Apartment Dwellers) Look for strippable, or peel and stick wallpaper that comes down in minutes--I’ve got you covered--HAHA, covered, get it? Lots of Love, XOXO Hello Beautiful! I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Holiday Season 🎅and an amazing start to your New Year ❤️ Even though everyone’s thinking “Holiday Season”…we, over here at Jane Antonovich Designs, are wrapping up KITCHEN SEASON!!!! We have completed 4 total kitchen re-dos this summer/fall! And the results are STUNNING-- Kitchen #1 is highlighted below… BEFORE: Challenges:
AFTER:
Results: Our clients can’t believe that, even with basically the “same” layout, there’s SO MUCH MORE storage and functionality--drawer dividers, knife block insert, spice pullout, a deep drawer dedicated to smoothie items, a built-in bookshelf for cookbooks at the end of the peninsula, tray dividers, pullout shelving for easy access--EVERYTHING custom created to suit their needs and desires. This is truly a dream kitchen for our clients--they are ‘over-the-moon’ happy with the results and the way their new and improved kitchen serves as a beautiful heart of their home. All of a sudden, entertaining, family meals and hanging out cooking has become enjoyable and flows smoothly and happily--ALL supported by the new upgraded kitchen space. ***It took us a while to find them, but we are so lucky to partner with THE BEST Custom Cabinet/Countertop team in the Madison area! We LOVE it when we find such AMAZING support for our work. (We also have the best contractors, painters and wallpaper hangers--so lucky)*** Is there an upgraded kitchen in your future? If so, or even if you want to discuss the possibility, let me know--I would be more than happy to jump on the phone with you! Lots of Love and Ho Ho Ho!!!! XOXO In the spirit of the season, I wanted you to know that I’m so thankful for you--I SO appreciate your comments, questions and messages--keep them coming! And, remember, I’m ALWAYS happy to jump on the phone to discuss a project that you may have in mind--just reply to this email--easy! Our holiday season started out with the annual “Thanksmas” PJ tradition: LOVE this crew of grandchildren (and that they indulge me every year for this picture)! Today, though, I want to focus on a couple who, BEYOND ANY DOUBT, are feeling the effects of their bedroom makeover…they bid on and WON this makeover to support the Forward Theater in Madison and what a wonderful journey it’s been! BEDROOM Before: Their home is stunning and chock-full of amazing architectural touches! Yet, as we talked about this particular room of their home, Nancy and David’s biggest request was that they wanted to improve their sleep--neither one of them was sleeping well AT ALL. They had been thinking about upgrading this room for a while but hadn’t quite “landed” on anything that felt amazing or supported them in this endeavor. Challenges: The bed was situated in a disempowering spot in the room--Feng Shui tip: place your bed so that when you're lying in bed, you can see the door to the bedroom--not have it behind your shoulder. Can you feel that? It feels like someone can sneak up on you and THAT causes uneasy feelings, even when you’re sleeping (or trying to sleep)! And as you can probably already know, lack of sleep is responsible for stress and a whole host of other health issues…so this was Top Priority for their project. In addition to the weak bed position, in this room we are faced with:
After:
Results: Nancy and David are not only happy with their beautiful, balanced new space, but they are both consistently sleeping very well! 💖 They even commented that they are sleeping “too well” (Ahem, that was the assignment… :) The energy is perfectly balanced for them--I hope they continue to enjoy remarkable sleep!!!! Lots of Love and Sweet Dreams, XOXO Hello Beautiful! Today, I want to share a GORGEOUS En Suite Bathroom makeover-- This couple is fun, adventurous and energetic--their WHOLE house, however, was telling a different story--and their en suite bathroom was DEFINITELY not a match for their amazing energy! Notice, also, how a low vibing space attracts clutter and disorder… BEFORE: Challenges: ~Dated Cabinetry ~NEVER/Rarely used BIG bathtub ~Original Formica countertops ~Beige wall paint color ~Stand-up shower insert (had seen better days…) ~Bland, basic flooring ~Cabinets full of out of date, unused items This room and THESE CLIENTS and THEIR LIVES were DUE for a Big, Happy Makeover! AFTER: Enhancements:
~Custom cherry cabinets with gorgeous black stone tops ~The tub area was remodeled into a custom, walk in shower ~The area for the shower gave us the ability to extend the vanity ~The AMAZING orange, zellige tile was placed on the walls of the shower (all the way up!) as well as across the wall above the new, longer double vanity--edge to edge giving the most EXPANSIVE feeling in this room ~The floor tile has an organic, pebble feel and finishes the room with a beautiful texture on the floor ~EVERYTHING was gone through, decided upon and put back beautifully in the new space NOW: Our client says, “We were excited AND nervous about the colors and choices but felt guided in the most positive way to a much more exciting and beautiful home than we EVER would’ve created for ourselves!” The result is that this beautiful space nourishes them in ways they couldn’t have imagined before--just feel into the experience of stepping into this space for yourself! This bathroom is a SMALL part of the entire home renovation and this couple has seen some absolutely AMAZING shifts (career, relationship, family) in their lives as they melt into how their home supports them now and in their futures. I cannot wait to show you the rest of this home (just completed the kitchen!)!!! What an incredible honor to work with this couple and support them through the process. If you are curious about how this type of life-enhancing design can support you, too, just send me a message--I’m more than happy to talk with you about your projects and dreams for the future! Lots of Love, XOXO Hello Beautiful, Do you ever wonder if there’s a silver lining to your junk? A golden nugget of truth hidden in the boxes? A teeny magic message that will arise from the mess? I get it, I used to think that just letting go of stuff would translate into magical results all on its own. A very black and white scenario: you let go and you receive, BIG TIME. And yes, there’s a sizable connection between letting go and letting in. I’ve seen it over and over: ~Let go of 20 boxes of old paper→new job opportunities start arriving ~HANDLE the chaos in the basement→eat well, start a walking program and lose 15 pounds ~Clear out junk room (I mean craft room)→ daughters start inviting friends over to craft...FUN! ~Shred threatening emails from ex→ accept marriage proposal from boyfriend by the weekend ~File the piles of papers on and around your desk→ win award for most productive manager These are a few examples from the REAL LIVES of my clients, and maybe you’re thinking, “It’s too good to be true!” (I thought so at first, too!) Truthfully, these astonishing results have always seemed a little cheesy and “off” to me, even though I have been a witness to them over and over. I’ve pondered what the magic *really* is many, many times. What is the missing piece? The real magic lies in the act of choosing. With each decision to keep or not keep (and this includes thoughts, relationships, beliefs, ideas, and STUFF) we get to CHOOSE what defines us in the moment. Every single little thing that we make a decision about (or don’t make a decision about)--whether it’s junk mail that arrives every day, the piles of dusty, crusty who-knows-what, relationships or beliefs...as we sift and sort, we are not just saying “Yes” to what stays or goes, but we are saying “Yes” to ourselves. Each YES is a moment to say, “Yep, that’s me--that feels like it really resonates with my soul!” Every NO is the chance to say goodbye to an outdated version of you. As we sort through the clutter we face each day--emotional, spiritual, intellectual AND physical--we discern and constantly create and re-imagine ourselves as we evolve and grow. So, finishing the decluttering process? Not going to happen! It’s a constant aligning with who we are. Right now. Right now. Right now. And the more aligned we are with our authentic selves, the more the good stuff shows up in our lives. The process of decluttering is our chance to really take a good look at Who. We. Are. ~Beer Can Collection? ~Rat’s nest of receipts from the ‘90s? ~Grandma’s fine china with matching crystal goblets--place setting for 12--beautifully boxed? ~Broken furniture? ~Old board games or puzzles with missing pieces? ~A job that makes you cry as you drive there EVERY SINGLE MORNING? ~Unfinished afghan that (come on, let’s face it) you will NEVER finish and you think is ugly, anyway :) Our physical stuff defines us more than we know, it’s a living, breathing journal of our lives. So, darling one, if this inspires you to think of your clutter clearing in a new way, less about tossing the junk and more about uncovering your SOUL--JOIN US for a FREE Virtual Clutter Clearing Circle on Thursday, July 28th at 5:30pm CT/ 6:30pm ET We will take on the clutter together (it’s a work sesion) and I think you will be blown away by the clearing that can happen in ONE HOUR of focused work.
