A Little Love Letter to Your House (and What It’s Asking For)

Since it’s almost Valentine’s Day, I’ve been thinking about love…
Not just romantic love—but the everyday kind. The kind you live inside of.

Your home.

What if, just for a moment, you imagined your house as a living, breathing companion?
One that’s been holding you through busy mornings, tired evenings, big feelings, small joys, and all the in-between moments.

If your house could write you a love letter, what might it say?

Maybe it would whisper:
“Thank you for choosing me.”
Or gently nudge:
“I’d love a little more breathing room over here.”

Or confess:
“I miss the days when you used to notice me.”

In Feng Shui, we believe our homes are always in conversation with us.

Through clutter, through light (or lack of it), through that one corner that never quite feels settled.

This week, I invite you to do something simple but powerful:
Pause in one room. Just one.
Notice what you love… and notice what feels tired, ignored, or a bit cranky.

No fixing required. Just listening.

Because when you start treating your home with curiosity and care—rather than judgment—something softens.
The energy shifts.
And often, you feel more supported too.
