Your Home Should Feed Your Soul, Not Just Your Instagram Feed

First off--huge thanks to everyone who showed up for yesterday’s Clutter-Clearing session! You all brought the energy, the honesty, and the giggles. It was a big success and such a blast. We moved stuff out and moved fresh chi in! (Confetti toss!) If you’re still basking in the post-clutter glow—ride that wave, friend. Keep going!

Your Home Should Feed Your Soul, Not Just Your Instagram Feed

Now, let’s talk about something that’s been on my Feng Shui-loving heart lately:

A beautiful home doesn't mean a thing if it doesn’t support your soul and your well-being.

Yep, I said it. Gorgeous furniture, moody lighting, and a designer rug that costs more than your first car? Lovely. But if your space doesn't help you feel calm, connected, loved, energized, inspired—or whatever your soul is craving—it’s just a stylish shell.

Let’s redesign with intention. With soul. With you at the center
Picture
Need More Calm?
If life feels like a nonstop scroll of chaos, let's design for serenity:
→Soft blues, greens, and neutrals to soothe your senses
→Lighting that whispers instead of shouts—think warm glow, not dentist chair
→Cozy textures and natural elements like plants, wood, and woven baskets
→Add a gentle sound element: a bubbling fountain, or your favorite calming playlist

Looking for Love (or just want to feel more connected)?
*Activate the Relationship corner (back right of your home when you stand at the front door)—carefully assess the art, the colors and the furniture arrangement in this area
*Remove reminders of past heartbreaks (exes don’t belong on your bookshelf, in your bedroom OR your closet)
*Keep your bedroom sensual, not for storage: soft sheets, flattering lighting, and no TV or laundry mountain

Calling in Abundance?
+Check your front door—clear, welcoming, and open to opportunity
+Add symbols of abundance in your space: a healthy plant, a bowl of citrus, or a crystal like citrine or pyrite
+Clear out the junk drawer (yes, that one)—because abundance needs space to land

Wanting Vibrant Health?
>Focus on the center of your home—it’s the Health & Wellness gua--check for clutter EVERYWHERE
>Bring in earth tones, grounding elements, and nourishing visuals (artwork with vitality and joyful movement)
>Leave 10% of your storage spaces EMPTY so energy (and you) can move with ease

Your home is talking to you. Are you listening?

✨ Let it reflect your dreams, not just your Pinterest board. ✨

Psst—want help figuring out what your soul needs most and how to design for it? Let’s chat! I’ve got openings for virtual and in-person Feng Shui consultations, and I’d love to co-create a space that feels like the warm hug you didn’t know you needed. Reach out and let’s align your home with your heart. 💛

✨ Say YES to Future You! ✨

Hey there, Beautiful Soul--

Have you heard the big news?
You are officially invited to step into your next-level self. The wiser, lighter, bolder, more radiant version of you is already knocking at the door…
But guess what? She needs a little more space.

That drawer full of tangled cords from 2009?
That sweater that always feels a little “meh”—like it’s trying to be cozy but secretly wants to retire?
That stack of books you “should” read but secretly dread?

Those things aren’t just clutter—they're anchors to the past.

Feng Shui shows us that your home is a vision board for your life. If you're holding on to stuff that no longer matches who you're becoming, you're unintentionally sending the universe a mixed message:
"I want change... but I’m not quite ready."

Let’s flip the script.
Let’s say YES to the next chapter of you.

Celebrate your transformation by releasing the stuff that’s been quietly whispering, “you’re not enough yet.” (Spoiler: You absolutely are!!!!!)

🌟 Next week, come join us for a joyful, judgment-free clutter-clearing session that’s part party, part pep talk, and 100% aligned with the fabulous future you’re stepping into.

We’ll move some energy, clear some space, and you’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and totally empowered.

🎉 RSVP here: Get Sh*t Done!

Because your home should feel like a high-five to your soul. 🙌
Let’s make room for magic.

With big YES energy,
XOXO

P.S. There will be prizes. And probably confetti. Just sayin’.

Feng Shui Facts vs. Fiction: 3 Myths You Need to Know

4/4/2025

Feng Shui is often misunderstood, with myths and misconceptions clouding its true essence. Many people dismiss it as mere superstition, while others overcomplicate it with rigid rules. In reality, Feng Shui is a practical, time-tested approach to increasing the energy and creating harmony and balance in our spaces.
Let’s clear up three of the biggest Feng Shui misconceptions:

1. Feng Shui Only Works If You Believe in It
Picture

Lower Level office→before and after, can you FEEL the difference?
Some skeptics think Feng Shui is only effective if you believe in it, as if it’s a placebo effect. However, Feng Shui is rooted in principles of spatial awareness, energy flow, and psychology. Clutter, for example, can create stress and stagnation, while a well-organized and optimally designed space promotes clarity and productivity. Whether or not you “believe” in Feng Shui, the way your surroundings are arranged has a direct impact on your mood, focus, and overall well-being.

2. Feng Shui is Just About Moving Furniture
Picture
One of the most common myths is that Feng Shui is simply about rearranging furniture. While furniture placement does play a significant role, true Feng Shui goes much deeper. It involves understanding how energy (or chi) flows through a space, how colors and materials affect our well-being, and how the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) interact. It’s about creating a supportive environment that enhances your health, relationships, and success—not just shifting your couch to the other side of the room.

3. You Must Follow Strict Rules or Bad Luck Will Follow
Picture
Another widespread belief is that Feng Shui is full of rigid dos and don’ts, and that breaking a rule will bring misfortune. This fear-based approach is not what authentic Feng Shui is about. While there are guiding principles, they are meant to be adapted to your unique space and lifestyle. For example, having a staircase directly facing the front door is often said to cause energy to rush out of the home too quickly, but in many houses, this feature is unavoidable. Rather than worrying about “bad Feng Shui,” practical adjustments—such as adding a rug, artwork, or a small piece of furniture to slow the energy flow—can help balance the space. Feng Shui should empower you to make choices that enhance your environment, not instill fear.

Final Thoughts
Feng Shui isn’t about superstition or rigid rules—it’s about creating a space that nurtures you. By understanding these misconceptions, you can embrace Feng Shui as a practical tool for improving your home, office, and life. If you're ready to bring balance and positive energy into your space, start small and notice the difference it makes!
